Technical expert on community noise impacts for the Environmental Review Panel on the planned Agricultural Products Terminal at Roberts Bank.
Community noise assessment of ferry terminal construction at Horseshoe Bay for B.C. Ferry Corp.
Preliminary assessment of noise impacts from Vancouver Terminals prototype “Computainer” system.
Conducted planning level assessment of noise impacts to be expected from the planned NORTERM Forest Products Terminal in North Vancouver - for Vancouver Port Corporation.
Directed extensive community noise survey around Esquimalt Graving Dock and established noise limits for ship repair operations, for Public Works and Government Services Canada.
Industrial/Utilities/Mining Noise Impact Assessment and Control
Developed an empirical model for Transport Canada to predict and control towboat noise levels based on noise surveys of 33 vessels of various classes.
Investigated noise production mechanisms of trim saws for the Workers' Compensation Board of B.C. and developed noise control guidelines for use by sawmill operators.
Principal investigator for a community/environmental noise impact assessment of B.C Hydro's proposed Hat Creek Thermal Power Station and Open Pit Mine.
Directed community noise assessment and identified acceptable noise level thresholds for industrial operations within Victoria's downtown Selkirk Waterway area,
Conducted noise impact studies of aggregate extraction operations in Victoria, Nanaimo and Powell River.
