Provided HVAC noise control design for operating rooms and support facilities at Trail Regional Hospital.
Prepared Noise control guidelines for Victoria condominiums; Ophir Place, Matticks Green and Sayward Hill.
Directed major study of community noise impacts from small arms at DND's Heals Range, Saanich, B.C.
Prepared noise control/isolation design for Marine Traffic Control Centre at Pat Bay Ocean Sciences Institute.
As associate consultant with ERM Hong Kong, assessed community impacts of proposed Hong Kong Disneyland Theme Park - for Hong Kong Civil Engineering Department and Disney Corporation.
Community Noise Policy and Bylaw Development
Developed highway noise impact mitigation policy for the B.C. Ministry of Transportation (MoT).
Reviewed noise bylaw options for the Municipality of Saanich.
In conjunction with a community noise impact assessment of a hardwood flooring manufacturing operation (Millrun Hardwood Floors) - , reviewed the noise bylaw of the City of Surrey and recommended revisions.
In 2002/03 developed new quantitative noise bylaw for the City of Victoria which included penalties for the negative characteristics of noise such as tonality, impulsiveness and persistent intermittency.
